DONATI Merry USA connection

In 1872, Giovanni Donati (b. June 24, 1826) and Carubina Donati (b. July 24, 1833) arrived in Richmond, VA from Italy. They brought with them their two sons, Andrew (17) and Vittorio Carlo (15). Also arriving with them was a nephew David Donati (13). The Richmond, VA city Directory 1872/73 shows Giovanni and Andrew as Plaster of Paris makers.  Giovanni died June 24, 1882 and Carubina died September 6, 1888.
