Quilietti TURNER connections

Theresa Quilietti was one of the most colourful of the Quilietti descendants.  Always lively and full of stories and fondly remembered by all who knew her.  She was the daughter of Giulio Quilietti and Elizabeth Wilson.

Theresa was married twice.  Her first husband was Samuel Kelly Turner.  Both worked in a fruit business where Sam was a salesman and Theresa was a Fruit Shop Assistant.    They married when Theresa was 16 at Lochend Church in Edinburgh on 22nd December 1932.  They had several children, May, June, Brian and David Turner.

May Coyle Turner was born on 4th November 1935 at 5 St. James’ Place, Greenside.  She married Thomas Murray and they had one son Diente.  They emigrated to Australia many years ago.

June Rose was born on June 22nd 1933 in 3 North St. James Street, Greenside, Edinburgh.  She married into the De Placido family .

Brian Samuel was born in 1947.  Brian married Lillian and they have daughter  Deanne.  Deanne now has a son called Sammy.   Deanne went to University with Jamie Stanton and they graduated together.

David John Mathers Turner was born in 1954 at 36  Pleasance in Edinburgh.  He married………….

There was a twenty year  gap in the ages of Theresa and Sammy’s children.
